What You Need to Attend the Online Conference
You’ll be presented with a screen that says, "Waiting for the host to start this webinar" and a message showing the name, date, and time of the session. Check the the date and start time of the webinar including the time zone.
Join By Computer Audio
We recommend that you check your audio settings while waiting for the meeting to start. Once you join the meeting you will be asked whether you want to join using your computer audio. If for some reason you do not see this window pop up, look for the small upward arrow (^) on the bottom left in the tool bar asking you to "Join Audio" where you can choose audio speaker settings.
Participating in Sessions
As an attendee, you can type questions in Q&A and send chat messages during sessions Q&A period. The Wisconsin Historical Society is committed to a welcoming and respectful environment for all conference attendees and Society staff members. Inappropriate comments, verbal abuse, or other disruptive behavior toward presenters, staff, or conference attendees during the online sessions will not be tolerated. We look forward to a productive and engaging online experience.
If you are unable to attend a live session at the scheduled time you can watch a recording
Each session and keynote will be recorded. Register for the conference and you will be sent the links to the recordings for later viewing if you are unable to watch it live or if you would like to view sessions you missed.

- An internet connected computer with speakers.
- Click on the link provided by email the day before the conference.
- Enter your name and email you used to register for the conference.
- The session will begin at the scheduled time. Log on 5-10 minutes early to check your connection and sound levels.
